The Punt Club, operated by the Punt Rep, allows St John’s Members to borrow punts from Cherwell Boathouse and Magdalen Boathouse in the summer. This scheme is free for Punt Club Members.
- If you are a member of the JCR, joining the Punt Club costs £13 and operates as an opt-out system. This means that the cost will be added to your Trinity battels unless you inform the JCR Treasurer that you would like to opt out.
- If you are a member of the MCR or the SCR, joining the Punt Club costs £21 and can be purchased from the JCR Treasurer.
Once you have joined the Punt Club, you will receive your punt card in your pigeonhole, which entitles you use of the St John’s punts for the season.
Make sure to book a slot before you go punting, and don’t forget to take your punt card with you. Each punt seats up to six people, but only one person needs to present their punt card.
- Cherwell A, available for the whole season (mid-March to mid-October)
- Cherwell B, available from Week 1 to Week 8 of Trinity term
- Magdalen, available from Week 1 to Week 8 of Trinity term
